On the week of the Museum's 125th anniversary, celebrate spring with music, dance, and art. Meet a living statue, explore springtime artworks, and create art of your own during this full-day festival.

Holy Cross Spring Concert

1 pm; Renaissance Court

Students and faculty from Holy Cross perform their annual spring concert, a wide-ranging program of musical pieces developed in a performance seminar taught by Professor Shirish Korde.

Secrets of swordplay

2 pm; Education wing conference room

Get a close-up look at the art of swordplay in action. Hold a broadsword or rapier and get a feel for what these elegant weapons were really like.

Story time

12 pm, 2 pm; Education wing family nook

Become inspired at story time with Katie and the Impressionists by James Mayhew at 12 pm, followed by a special, family-friendly tour of Frontiers of Impressionism. Then enjoy a reading of Anna at the Art Museum by Hazel Hutchins, Gail Herbert, and Lil Crump at 2 pm.

Choose a fun look for the day and make yourself a work of art with face painting in Lancaster Lobby.
