Make Your Wedding a Masterpiece!

Are you searching for what Bride & Groom magazine calls “a breathtaking wedding venue that has equal parts urban charm and historic elegance, along with a big helping of culture?” Look no further than the Worcester Art Museum! For your wedding ceremony, the 12th Century Chapter House is a romantic and intimate space, steeped in history. For larger ceremonies, the Renaissance Court has magnificent architectural spaces, and its grand staircase will provide a spectacular entrance for you and your wedding party. If you prefer to be out in the fresh air, outdoor ceremonies are held in the Stoddard Garden Courtyard, with a backdrop of the outdoor mosaic, sculptures and greenery.

The Chapter House

Brought over from France in 1927, this distinctive space with its 12th-century architecture was reconstructed at the Worcester Art Museum adjacent to the Renaissance Court. Featuring stone vaulted ceilings and one-of-a-kind stained glass windows, the Chapter House provides ceremony seating for up to 70 guests for a truly special and intimate celebration. In addition to ceremonies, the Chapter House may also serve as an additional area for cocktail seating.

This is the ONE and only venue we toured because we knew it was the only place for our wedding. We knew it would be stunning, but we had no idea how much of a fairytale wedding it would end up being.

We had an absolutely beautiful experience at the WAM. Kristen was so warm and helpful—the planning felt easy and relaxed. Everybody loved the venue and saying our vows in the chapel room really made it perfect for me. I can't praise them adequately…

We were married in the Chapter House, which was the perfect and intimate setting for our private family ceremony. Our much larger reception was held in the Renaissance Court and it was breathtaking!

WAM is a beautiful venue. Janice and Kristen were fabulous in helping us through from the planning stages to the day of the wedding. The staff was wonderful, responsive and paid attention to every detail!

Kristen was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful, always made herself available, and had great feedback to help our big day go smoothly! The day of the ceremony was stress-free thanks to her professionalism and experience. The ceremony far exceeded our expectations and we owe it all to her!
