Venue Rental for Weddings

Celebrate Your Wedding with Art and Grandeur

Thank you for thinking of the Worcester Art Museum for your special event.

Due to the uncertainty about holding group gatherings in Massachusetts for the foreseeable future, as well as our concern for the safety and comfort of our patrons and staff, we have made the decision not to book any new private events until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in your planning. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

From dream to reality, the staff at Worcester Art Museum offers a wealth of creativity and experience in every aspect of wedding planning, ensuring your wedding day will be a truly unique and memorable occasion.

Make Your Wedding a Masterpiece!

Are you searching for what Bride & Groom magazine calls “a breathtaking wedding venue that has equal parts urban charm and historic elegance, along with a big helping of culture?” Look no further than the Worcester Art Museum! Conveniently located in central Massachusetts, just a 45-minute drive west of Boston, Worcester Art Museum boasts one-of-a-kind architecture and ambience that you won't find anywhere else in New England.

For your wedding ceremony, the 12th Century Chapter House is a romantic and intimate space, steeped in history. For larger ceremonies, the Renaissance Court has magnificent architectural spaces, and its grand staircase will provide a spectacular entrance for you and your wedding party. If you prefer to be out in the fresh air, outdoor ceremonies are held in the Stoddard Garden Courtyard, with a backdrop of the outdoor mosaic, sculptures and greenery.

This is the ONE and only venue we toured because we knew it was the only place for our wedding. We knew it would be stunning, but we had no idea how much of a fairytale wedding it would end up being.

We had an absolutely beautiful experience at the WAM. Kristen was so warm and helpful—the planning felt easy and relaxed. Everybody loved the venue and saying our vows in the chapel room really made it perfect for me. I can't praise them adequately…

We were married in the Chapter House, which was the perfect and intimate setting for our private family ceremony. Our much larger reception was held in the Renaissance Court and it was breathtaking!
