Tapestries: intricately designed, meticulously crafted, and often staggering in size. Join tapestries expert Thomas Campbell (aka “Tapestry Tom”) for a deep dive into this breathtaking artform. As the former Director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the current Director of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Campbell’s expertise reaches far, but he holds a particular passion for tapestries. As part of this one-time talk, Campbell will share a detailed look at the monumental works on view in From the Vault: Collecting Tapestries at the Worcester Art Museum (May 3–July 27, 2025).
