WAM gets merry and bright for the holidays with artfully decorated trees inspired by Jewels of the Nile and The Floating World. Stroll through the galleries and enjoy decorations created by Sally Jablonski of Herbert E. Berg Florist, Inc.

Free for Members; $25 for guests

This festive evening at WAM for Members and their guests includes chocolate desserts, champagne, winter-themed docent tours, and unique gifts in the Museum Shop! Holiday tunes by pianist Paul Buono will fill the air! Plus…enjoy 25% discount in the Museum Shop only during this event and free gift wrapping sponsored by the WAM Members Council.

Hanukkah at WAM

Join us for a day-long Hanukkah celebration for all ages! Enjoy music, live cooking demonstrations, story times with PJ Library, art activities, and presentations on the history and traditions of this Jewish holiday. Organized in partnership with the Worcester JCC and the Jewish Federation of Central MA.

Hear the festive chime of holiday bells across the Museum with the Merrimack Valley Ringers! MVR is an auditioned community handbell ensemble devoted to sharing the art of handbells and handchimes with everyone, performing annually for audiences all over New England.

Soaring choral music fills the Renaissance Court, performed by Worcester's own Salisbury Singers. Founded in 1974, the Salisbury Singers return this year as a mainstay event during the holidays at WAM.

New Year’s Eve Celebration!

Get an early start to your New Year’s Eve celebrations with music and fun all around the Museum! Drop-in art-making activities for families start at 11am. At 2pm, Arianna Falk (cello) and Peter Sulski (viola) of the Worcester Chamber Music Society will perform with students from Worcester's Neighborhood Strings program.

11:30am: Watch a massive ice sculpture take shape outside on Lancaster Plaza, inspired by artworks at WAM. Created by Chip Koser of South Cape Ice Sculptures.

2pm: John McDonough’s Pumpernickel Puppets Musical Variety Show is back! A family favorite every year, kids will meet puppet friends of all shapes and sizes in an interactive show in the Museum’s Renaissance Court.
