“As warm-blooded creatures on an intensely warming Earth, we find ourselves seeking new ways to adapt our bodies to the planetary one—both have a fever in need of cooling.”
—Christa Donner and Andrew S. Yang
Meet the artists behind Fever Dreams of a Cool-Breathed Earth, a multi-sensory exhibition examining climate change through the human experience of the weather. At this special artist talk, Donner and Yang will share a deep dive into their work, from concept to creation. Like many other American cities, Worcester faces issues of extreme urban heat exacerbated by global warming. Donner and Yang’s art—informed by conversations with Massachusetts-based climatologists, community gardeners, and local residents—brings together drawings, sculptures, sound, and videos in a multimedia experience reflecting our relationship with a rapidly changing world. The exhibition is on view March 28–August 16, 2026.
Advance registration is highly recommended. A limited number of walk-in tickets may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in entry is not guaranteed if the event is sold out.
