To The Earth With Love

July 22–August 30, 2026

Exhibition Reception: Sunday, August 2, 2–4 pm

The return of summer brings many feelings: Joy at the return of leaves. Hope for sunny days. And excitement during fun activities. But for many, summer can also be a time of worry.  Heat waves, storms, and droughts all remind us how fragile and precious our climate is. This non-juried community exhibition asks artists to create artworks which explore the many ways in which we can care for the Earth, and how all climate activism begins from a place of love.

If interested, artists have the option to take inspiration from the following exhibitions currently on view at Worcester Art Museum: A Weather Eye: Art and Early Modern Meteorology (on view through June 28) and Fever Dreams of a Cool-Breathed Earth (on view through August 16).

The exhibition will be displayed in The Museum’s Higgins Education Wing exhibition space and will be free and open to the public.

Deadline to submit: July 20, 2026. More details in the submission form.
