A knack for wrangling tornadoes and charming rattlesnakes earned Hank Schyma the nickname “Pecos Hank” after Texas fake-lore legend Pecos Bill. Hank is a musician, author, storm chaser, and filmmaker known for his stunning weather photography, nature documentaries, and educational science videos that have reached millions worldwide.
Join Hank for an electrifying talk on storm chasing, the environment, and art. In addition to sharing stories from his work, Hank will delve into themes of meteorology and climate change found in two upcoming exhibitions: A Weather Eye: Art and Early Modern Meteorology and Fever Dreams of a Cool-Breathed Earth (opening March 28).
