Watch and learn about the history and fighting techniques of the legendary Samurai! The Samurai ruled Japan for seven hundred years from the twelfth century up until 1868. The style focused on in this demonstration is Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu (Divine Sanctioned Katori Shinto School), the oldest school of Japanese martial arts in existence, dating from the fifteenth century.
