Full-time opening to support the operations of the Advancement Division by processing gifts, creating acknowledgments, maintaining constituent records, and assisting with department fundraising activities and day-to-day. This position accurately processes gifts, grants, pledges, and associated items utilizing a relational fundraising database. Other duties include generating monthly fundraising reports, reconciling accounts and producing gift reports for the Finance Division, and assisting in technology-related training for Advancement team.
The incumbent must have three or more years of related experience including Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge or a similar database, and an understanding of the critical role of data management in the advancement/development process. Precision, a keen eye for details and the ability to handle and record confidential data in a responsible manner are required. Additional qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred, familiarity with basic bookkeeping and the ability to produce spreadsheets and analytical reports. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends are a must.
