Full-time opening for development professional to manage and grow the Museum's Business Partner and Corporate Sponsorship programs to maximize restricted and unrestricted support from strategic partners, businesses and corporations. The successful candidate will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate and business donors to the Museum; secure and increase annual unrestricted gifts through the Business Partner program; cultivate and secure strategic corporate sponsorships for Museum priorities and activities. The candidate will serve as primary liaison to the business community in Worcester and beyond; participate in external networking events to increase WAM's visibility, strengthen existing and foster new donor relationships. This position plans and implements special donor acquisition and stewardship events in collaboration with Museum event staff and other divisions; organizes and participates in donor visits, tours, events and presentations; assist with goal setting and monitoring progress.
Bachelor's degree and minimum 3-5 years' experience in annual programs and corporate fundraising required. Requires outstanding interpersonal skills and professional demeanor; excellent administrative, budget and program management skills; excellent writing, communication and proficient with technology including database software and social media.
