Spring Community Day 2019: Heroes and Villains

Saturday, April 13, 10am–4pm
Free with Museum admission

Who are your Heroes? Who are your Villains?

Art often tells stories, and many famous stories have heroes and villains. Whatever form heroes take — from characters with superhuman powers to ordinary people who act heroically in extraordinary times — they always spark the imagination and stir the heart. And, of course, no good story lacks conflict and with it the villain who is the reflection of the hero.

WAM's Spring Community Day spotlights a wide variety of heroes, as well as their inevitable counterparts — villains — from throughout history, cultures, and galaxies.

Come dressed as your favorite hero or villain! Prizes awarded for best costumes at 3:15pm.
Reminder: Masks, weapons, and backpacks must be checked prior to entering the Museum's galleries.
