About Greater Good Imperial Brewing Company

Founded in Worcester in 2015, Greater Good Imperial Brewery is America’s only all-Imperial brewery. Its founder, Paul Wengender, wanted to make an imperial beer without the harsh taste of other imperial brews. Being a scientist by training (microbial genetics), Wengender experimented and crafted high ABV beers that tasted amazing and still packed a punch. Now in its eighth year, and with a popular taproom and brewery just up the road from the Museum, Greater Good continues to grow and experiment, with a rotating selection of fascinating brews and hard seltzers.
