What was the difference between a Roman Legionary and an Auxiliary soldier? How were they equipped? Were they paid? How long did they serve? Today you will meet Legionary and Auxiliary reenactors from Legio III Cyrenaica, a Roman living history group that strives to accurately portray the famous Legion based in Alexandria, Egypt during the Flavian period (60-100 AD/CE), and learn about the Legion's history, weapons, tactics and daily life in this engaging presentation. And remember to ask questions!
