The ever-changing role of color in society has been reflected in manuscripts, stained glass, heraldry, clothing, paintings and most powerfully as an element in church decoration and symbolism, the military, politics and monarchies. Come explore the fascinating history of color on this unique tour of the museums paintings, armor, pottery and sculpture.
