The Worcester Art Museum is presenting a Diwali extravaganza in collaboration with The India Society of Worcester.

Schedule of Events:

Indian music and dance performances presented by India Society of Worcester (11am-1:30pm)

Learn how to drape a Sari presented by India Society of Worcester (10am-4:30pm)
-Snap a picture of yourself in a sari, or with your Mehndi body art.

Mehndi (Henna) with artist Noureen Sultana (10am-1pm)
-See how Mehndi (Henna) artists work and get henna body art of your own. Free. First come, first served.

Gallery Scavenger Hunt Activity (10am-4:30pm)

Art Making Activities (10am-4:30pm) including:
-Paper lanterns
-Paper Diyas
-Paper Sparklers
-Mandala Coloring Sheets

Public Tours, including:
-Family Tour (10:30)
-Zip Tour: WAM's statue:Seated Ganesha(1pm)
-A tour of the Indian Gallery with Asian Art Curator Vivian Li (2pm)
-Tour of the Month: The Art of Citizenship (2pm)
(Tours meet in the Lancaster Welcome Center)
