Self Guided Tours
Mobile Audio Tour
We are pleased to provide an audio tour of the Worcester Art Museum, including audio descriptions of works exhibited in the newly reinstalled Medieval Galleries.
A self-guided audio tour of some of the Museum's greatest treasures is available at the Visitor Service Representative Desks at the Lancaster and Salisbury Street Entrances. Now offered in English and Spanish! Free for members.
All Public Tours are FREE with Museum admission and require no reservations.
First Saturday of each month at 10:30am*
Explore the museum galleries with your family on a docent-guided discovery tour. Hear fun facts, stories and enjoy sharing observations and time together. Tours last approximately 30 minutes. Free.
First Saturday of each month at 11-11:30am*
Stay after your family tour, or drop-in for Make Art! - a fun intergenerational time in the galleries. Get inspired by our art and try making something uniquely yours. Materials will be provided. Come recover your childlike sense of free spirited play! Free.

Zip tours are fast-paced views of one artist or work of art, and last only 20 minutes. Free with Museum admission.

Tours of the Month
First and Third Saturday of each month, 2pm
Each month, a Museum Docent picks a topic of special interest and creates a tour through the Museum based upon that subject matter. This is an opportunity for visitors to glean a more in depth knowledge about the collection. Don't miss out! Free with Museum admission.
First and Third Wednesday of each month, 10:30-11:15am
It's never too early to visit the Worcester Art Museum to start learning about art! This tour is designed for children 0 - 3 years old, their siblings, and their parents/grandparents/guardians. A Museum teacher will engage caretakers and their infants and toddlers with art and stories in the galleries. Stay for tea, coffee, juice and snacks after your tour. Free with Museum admission. Stroller access to Lancaster Lobby is through our Tuckerman Street Entrance; the Salisbury Street Entrance is closed at 10:30am.
