Catering and Other Special Events Information
The Worcester Art Museum offers several extrordinary venues for groups or individuals to host meetings, receptions, dinners or other events. From concept to completion, our Special Events staff is highly experienced in every aspect of events planning, and will work closely with you to ensure your occasion is a resounding success.
The Museum offers its own innovative catering service: The Museum Café. If these services are not available, we will help you select another provider from our preferred pool of creative caterers. We will work closely with you and the selected caterer to customize a menu your guests will savor. Price ranges are:
- Breakfast: $4.25-$10.95 per person
- Luncheon: $10.25-$20.00 per person
- Hors D'oeuvres: Platters - $3.25-$5.75 per person
- Passed - $50.00-$100.00 per 50 pieces
- Dinner: $25.00 per person and up
The Museum has a full liquor license and will provide all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar will be stocked to your specifications.
- Bartender Fees: $15.00 per hour per bartender, and
- Bar Set-up Fees: $40.00 per set-up.
- Wine service also available for an additional fee.
To complement your event, you may want to offer your guests a private tour or an opportunity to tour one or more of our 36 galleries on their own. The fees for these options vary, depending on the galleries and length of time they are open. Our Special Events staff is happy to discuss these possibilities with you.
We are pleased to recommend additional resources, including flowers, cakes, entertainment, audio/visual equipment, and related technical staff. If you contract any of these services, Special Events will coordinate their delivery for you.
Free parking is available in the Museum's Salisbury, Lancaster and Tuckerman Street lots. While these spaces are limited, we are often able to secure additional parking from our neighbor, Trinity Lutheran Church. Municipal parking and on-street parking are also available within one block of the Museum.
