The Museum Library

The Worcester Art Museum Library, founded in 1909 as a non-circulating bibliographic resource dedicated to the history of art, reflects the collection strengths of the Worcester Art Museum. While the library exists to serve the staff of the Museum, it also extends its resources and services to the community, including teachers, students, faculty, collectors, museum docents, scholars, and the general public.

Special Events & Catering

The Worcester Art Museum offers several extrordinary venues for groups or individuals to host meetings, receptions, dinners or other events. From concept to completion, our Special Events staff is highly experienced in every aspect of events planning, and will work closely with you to ensure your occasion is a resounding success.

Visitor Services

When visiting the Museum, stop by the desk with your questions about membership, exhibitions, events, amenities, directions, information on nearby attractions or anything else. The Museum also offers a self-guided audio tour of some of the Museum's greatest treasures. Rent the tour, available in English and Spanish, on a portable CD player for $1 or IPod for $1 at the Salisbury Street entrance. Transcripts of the tour, in English and Spanish, are free for the hearing impaired.
