Part Time Positions
The Museum is accepting resumes for a part-time Instructor's Assistant I to provide hands-on support to Instructors in youth classes. The successful candidate should be creative, outgoing, exhibit good common sense and have the ability to be a calming influence in galleries and studios.
Duties include: preparing, cleaning, and storing art materials; working with students with a wide range of ability and reiterating or restating directions of Instructor; escorting students and maintaining class headcount.
Position requires regular and reliable attendance, commitment to full class session (up to 8 weeks), and ability to work weekday afternoons and Saturdays. Please indicate availability in cover letter. Prior experience working with youth, familiarity with art supplies, and ability to lift 25 lbs. required. High School Diploma or equivalent experience plus background in art or education preferred.
