The Worcester Art Museum evokes the spirit of the season during this special time of year. Join us and enjoy festive live concerts in the Renaissance Court, special seasonal children's programming, decorations inside and outside the Museum, and expanded Shop and Café hours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All Concerts listed below will take place at 2pm in the Renaissance Court and are free with Museum admission. No reservations required. The 1pm public tours on these Sundays will have a musical theme.

Complimentary Gift Wrapping on purchases made in The Museum Shop, provided by the Members' Council, 3-4pm, after each of the concerts.


Zip Tours are fast-paced docent-led gallery talks designed to offer a short but in-depth view of a single work or artist. Celebrate the season with these holiday themed tours.
Free with Museum admission.

Holiday Scavenger Hunt
During gallery hours, kids can pick up a fun Scavenger Hunt activity at the Lancaster Street Visitor Services Desk. Our younger guests will have the opportunity to find artworks in the galleries that include images of gift giving. When they are finished, kids can return to the desk for a prize!

Salisbury Street Doors open 7 days a week December 1-24!
Remember, 17 and under enjoy free general admission all year long.

The Museum Shop
will be open 7 days a week between December 1 and 24: gallery hours plus Monday and Tuesday, 11am-5pm.

The Museum Café
will be open 11:30am- 2pm Wednesday-Sunday between November 25 and December 18, and Wednesday-Saturday the remainder of December.

Holiday Family Photo Op 10:00am-4pm
Back by popular demand!  Continue the family tradition by having your family holiday photo taken in one of the magnificent galleries at the Museum. This year, photos will be taken inside the British gallery and you choose the artwork for your photo. A professional photographer from WAM will work with you to get the perfect shot.
$50 includes sitting fee and electronic image e-mailed to your home. Photo packages are available through the photographer. Sorry, no pets allowed. Reservations required.

Holiday Victorian Strolling Carolers
12:30 -1:30pm
NEW THIS YEAR! Costumed in the look of the Victorian Era, this quartet of carolers will brighten your holiday mood as they meander throughout the museum. The Holiday Victorian Carolers are comprised of some of the finest vocalists and all of their costumes are handmade.

Santa’s Helpers: Creative Babysitting 6-8pm
$10 per child for Members, $15 non members, ages 5+
Parents and caregivers, do you need a little time by yourself to do some holiday shopping or to stroll the galleries? Let our creative elves help by entertaining your kids with art projects while you spend some time with adults. Parents must stay on premises. Preregistration is required. Holiday Family Workshop: Gingerbread Houses 1-3pm
$15 per family, ages 5-13
Parents and kids enjoy the age-old tradition of making ginger bread houses. Decorate adorable pre-constructed ginger bread houses with sprinkles, colorful sugars, candies, cookies and more. Note: Products may contain peanuts.

An exceptional handbell ensemble perform sacred and secular holiday music. Kids (and grown-ups too) can come up after the show, talk to the performers and try their hand at bell ringing!


'Twas the Night before Christmas reading with WXLO's Steve Donovan, after the Concert, around 3:15 p.m.
Grab the kids and join us for a fun reading with local celebrity, WXLO's Steve Donovan. Milk and cookies will be served in the Discovery Gallery following the reading.
