    art+market at worcester art museum

    Saturdays, July 12 - September 20, 2014, 10am-2pm

    The Worcester Art Museum invites you to take part in ART + MARKET. We will create a colorful community experience complete with art, craft, farmers, music and more. 

    ART + MARKET will be held across from the museum, inside the parking lot of Trinity Lutheran Church at 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester, MA, and is open to both museum visitors and the general public.

    Art + Market will offer a variety of 7-10 art vendors, 3-5 cultural organizations/groups, and live music at each market.

    Farm/Food Vendors include:

    Turtle Creek Winery-Bottled wines including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Riesling and Pinot Noir
    Dick's Market Garden- Seasonal Fruits Vegetables and Herbs
    Rota Spring Farm-Seasonal Produce
    Brandywine Farm-Seasonal Produce and Herbs
    Individual Farm operated by Paul Gingras-Seasonal Produce and Herbs, Maple Syrup, Honey, Plants & Flowers


    *We’re pet-friendly!  Pets welcome in non-food areas only.
    *Book Exchange-Take a Book, Leave a book.  No more than 5 please.
    *Going for a bike ride or walk?  Stop by the market.  Bike rack available near Museum’s Lancaster Street entrance.  

    Market Dates and Themes:  

    Themes reflect additional market activities and do no limit the type of vendors invited to sell.

    Djembeliyas Drum Troupe
    Djembeliyas Drum Troupe is a local performance group headed by Mary Cote-Diaz.  The Djembeliyas will both entertain and enlighten with a demonstration of, and information about, the art of drumming.
