Scholarships

Scholarships are available based on financial need. If you cannot afford the cost of registration for a class or workshop for yourself or a child, Scholarship funding may be available.

To apply for a scholarship you need to begin by filling in the appropriate forms. These can be downloaded and printed by clicking the Youth or Adult Application form to the right. To have forms mailed to you, please call 508.799.4406, x3007. Have some questions? Call us for more information.

Youth Applications
  1. Fill in the form completely
  2. For youth applications, the form must be signed by either a parent or guardian
  3. Either attach or have sent separately a letter of recommendation. This can be written by a teacher, school principal, guidance counselor or a health care provider.
  4. Indicate the student's preference of session and day of the week (we cannot guarantee that we can meet these requests).
  5. For Worcester residents, indicate if you require transportation to and from the museum. (Limited Bus transportation is available on Saturdays and during summer sessions only.)
  6. Mail the application to Scholarships, Education Department, 55 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609
  7. We will contact you to confirm your application has been successful.
  8. Please note that the Museum reserves the right to cancel a scholarship at any time for any reason.

Adult Applications
  1. Fill in the form completely.
  2. Have a person who can verify your financial situation write us a letter to verify this information. For Example: Member of the clergy, social worker, health care provider or teacher. (You may submit a tax form for income verification.)
  3. Mail the application to Scholarships, Education Department, 55 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
  4. We will call you to confirm receipt of your application and set up a meeting or phone interview.
  5. We will contact you to confirm your application has been successful.
  6. Please note that the Museum reserves the right to cancel a scholarship at any time for any reason.
