Just for Teachers General Overview

At the Worcester Art Museum we are committed to providing quality enrichment opportunities for teachers and their students. We offer a number of different programs that can help support your efforts in the classroom.

The Resource Center can provide you with a broad range of supplemental materials, on loan, to complement your classroom activities.

Gallery/Studio Workshops provide customized tour and hands-on activity packages for your class.

Classes and Workshops are offered in many areas including foundation courses, printmaking, photography, writing and computer arts.

Our Professional Development Partnership is set up for teachers to take classes and workshops free of charge through their school system's partnership with WAM. Check with your superintendent or curriculum coordinator to inquire about your district.

Art All-State is a program designed by prominent art educators and artists to give students an understanding of art beyond high school, a sense of art and art-related careers, and direct knowledge of contemporary art forms.

On top of all of this, we also offer Other Opportunities that you might want to consider.
