Docents at the Worcester Art Museum are trained volunteers who share their interest and love of art with Museum visitors. The word docent comes from the Latin word docere, to teach.

Gallery and Studio Workshops

Combine learning activities in the galleries with a related studio experience in the museum's Education studios so that your students can bring the inspirations and insights gained from the museum's collections back to the studio for hands-on art making experience.

Partnership Program

Places teachers in adult education courses at the Worcester Art Museum where they can earn Professional Development Points in the visual arts, creative writing, technology and the humanities.
