Obtaining College Credit

College credit is offered for many of our classes for an additional fee. We would be happy to answer questions about the college credit program at WAM. If you would like information about the institutions listed below, please call 508-799-4406, x3129 or 3007. Please note that scholarship awards can not be used toward college credit costs.

College of Professional and Continuing Education at Clark University

To receive credit from COPACE, pay the additional fee and complete Section 2 of the registration form. At the first class meeting, your instructor will ask students registered for credit to fill out a form that will enable COPACE to process your registration. If you registered for credit and your name is not called, please let your instructor know.
COPACEG = Graduate credit
COPACEU = Undergraduate credit


Fitchburg State College

To receive graduate credit from Fitchburg State College, pay the additional fee and complete Section 2 of the registration form. At the first class meeting, your instructor will ask students registered for credit to fill out a form that will enable Fitchburg to process your registration. If you registered for credit and your name is not called, please let your instructor know.

Massachusetts College of Art

To receive credit from MCA, pay the additional fee and complete Section 2 of the registration form. At the first class meeting, your instructor will ask students registered for credit to fill out a form that will enable MCA to process your registration. If you registered for credit and your name is not called, please let your instructor know.
MCAG = Graduate credit
MCAU = Undergraduate credit


Quinsigamond Community Credit

Note Changes: Credit through Quinsigamond Community College is offered for selected courses taught at the Worcester Art Museum. Students enroll at the Worcester Art Museum and QCC concurrently during the course of an academic term. All instruction and actual class work takes place at the Worcester Art Museum. The evaluation of the work and award of credit takes place through QCC. Students pay WAM tuition, a WAM credit processing fee of $20 and current QCC credit fees, paid directly to QCC.
