Wet Mounting of Paintings on Rice Paper
A mounting workshop geared for those artists who work on rice paper of any type. This 3 hour workshop is designed to teach Oriental Brush Painters and others who work on Rice Paper, raw or sized, the method of wet mounting and preserving their paintings.
Please bring:
1. Two paintings- One for practice and One good one
2. Large masonite or plywood board. At least 24x36
3. Krylon Crystal Clear non-yellowing acrylic spray (1303). It is better if you an spray your paintings ahead of time, as sprayed paintings maintain a nasty odor for a few days.
4. If you want to do more than one mounting, the paper to buy is Rives light weight printing paper which comes in 19x26 size and is usually available at CC Lowell.
