Design for a finished painting
Individual Critiques
Materials
1. Black ink drawing pen
2. India ink or black drawing ink
3. #10 or #12 watercolor brush for ink
4. 2B pencil
5. Glue stick
6. Scissors
7. Ruler
8. White plastic eraser
9. Sketchbook (minimum 7" X 10", spiral bound preferred)
10. Palette surface for mixing ink washes
For Sunday, November 12 only:
· Bring two of your paintings or drawings to be critiqued
· Your primary medium supplies (for example, everything you need to work in watercolor, oil, or acrylics). You need the three primaries only, plus white for opaque mediums.
For oil: Permanent Rose, Cadmium Yellow Light, Pthalo Blue (or Ultramarine Blue)
For watercolors: Permanent Rose, Bismuth Yellow (or Cadmium Yellow Light), Prussian Blue (or Pthalo, Winsor, or Ultramarine Blue)
For acrylics: Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta, and Primary Cyan.
· You should have enough supports for three 9" X 12" maximum paintings.
· Multiple photos or resources for a finished painting design.
