City Life: Bathing and Entertainment

Antiochenes gathered at the stadium for Olympic Games, the amphitheater for spectacles, the circus/hippodrome, and theaters. The Princeton Art Museum mosaic featured in one side of this gallery represents theatrical performance. The other side represents the theme of water, including a scale model of a Roman bath, and various mosaics related to marine deities.
